Privacy Policy
GeoStampPro is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains exactly what data the app accesses, why, and — just as importantly — what it never does with it.
GeoStampPro is an offline-first camera app that stamps photos and videos with location, date, and address information. All data the app works with — photos, videos, location records, and export files — is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. The app does not require an account, does not use cloud storage, and does not include analytics or advertising software.
The table below lists every category of data GeoStampPro accesses.
| Data type | Collected | Shared with third parties | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Precise location | Yes | No | Stamps GPS coordinates and altitude onto captured photos/videos; saved to the on-device database. |
| Approximate location | Yes | No | Fallback location source when a precise GPS lock isn't available. |
| Photos & videos | Yes | No | Core app function: capturing, watermarking, and displaying your geotagged media history. |
| Files & documents | Yes | No | Created only when you export a folder to a ZIP archive or generate a QR code to share. |
| Personal info (name, email, phone, user ID) | No | No | Not collected. The app has no accounts or sign-in. |
| Financial or health data | No | No | Not collected. |
| Contacts or calendar | No | No | Not accessed. |
| App activity / usage tracking | No | No | No analytics or behavioral tracking is built into the app. |
| Device identifiers | No | No | Not accessed (no IMEI, MAC address, Android ID, or advertising ID). |
Photos, videos, location records, and authenticity hashes are stored exclusively in a local database inside the app's private, sandboxed storage on your device. On modern Android versions, this storage is automatically protected by file-based encryption at the operating system level.
GeoStampPro does not transmit this data to any server, including ours. There is no cloud backup, sync, or remote storage built into the app.
The only network request the app makes is a standard reverse-geocoding lookup — converting your GPS coordinates into a readable address — handled by the Android operating system's built-in geocoding service. This request travels over a secure, encrypted connection managed by the OS and Google Play Services. No other data leaves your device through this or any other channel.
GeoStampPro does not share, sell, rent, or transmit your photos, videos, or location data to any third party, advertiser, or analytics provider, because no such services are integrated into the app.
The only way data leaves the app is when you choose to share something — for example, tapping the share button on a photo, folder, or QR code. In that case, the app hands the file to Android's standard system share sheet, which then follows whatever app or destination you personally select (Messages, email, a cloud drive app, etc.). That choice, and the resulting transfer, is yours — GeoStampPro does not control or see where it goes afterward.
When enabled, GeoStampPro generates a cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of each captured image and stores it locally. This lets you verify later that a photo's geotag hasn't been altered or tampered with. This hash is generated and stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
GeoStampPro is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app collects no account or personal information from any user, no child-specific data is gathered.
Because everything is stored locally and there are no user accounts, you are always in full control of your data:
Clear app storage or uninstall the app at any time from your device's system settings to permanently delete all photos, videos, location history, and exported files associated with GeoStampPro. There is no server-side copy to request deletion of.
If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a new feature that collects data differently — we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
